New Hope…

WiL Diaper bank collaborates with existing service organizations and passionate community members to help meet the needs of struggling families. Our goals are being accomplished with the following strategies: 1) Increase community partner participation and distribution of diapering essentials to families in need; 2) Increase organizational visibility in the community; and 3) Enhance operational efficiency. For this first year, WiL’s goal is to disburse 90,000 diapers for 200 babies, support 50 individuals with incontinence supplies, collaborate with over 30 community partners, and increase awareness for 30,000 community members.

This all-volunteer project, works on raising inventory supplies to provide each child or adult with 25-50 diapers and wipes each month.

There was an 18% increase in diaper distribution between quarters one and two and another 17% increase between quarters two and three.

To reach our 2023 goal of serving 300 babies, we need to raise 90,000. We continue to host drives, each time with a goal or obtaining 30,000 diapers to move forward in bringing on more children. To reach 1,000 of Yavapai County’s children in need, 30,000 diapers per month are needed which would is 360,000 diapers per year. As shared by other diaper banks, diapers have the power to change lives! An adequate supply of diapers is a basic need that significantly impacts the health of the community and creates a new approach to prevention by keeping babies warm, dry, and healthy.

We are developing potty training kits to assist families with transitioning their children out of diapers and the earliest possible time.
